Past events of the Ashburn Center
Since its inception, Art of Living, Ashburn has been associated with many activities. A few important ones are listed below:
a. Visit of His Holiness Sri Sri Ravishanker. His Holiness Sri Sri Ravishanker, popularly known as Guruji or Gurudev visited the center and blessed many people of the community. His visit made the center to grow significantly.

b. Every year the center conducts entertainment evening on Dec 30. This is to celebrate the year that had passed by and to celebrate the New Year with joy. A large number of people participate in the variety program – which also involves kids program.

c. Bhanu Didi – the sister of His Holiness Sri Sri Ravishanker has visited the center on multiple occasions. She conducted Sahaj Samadhi Meditation twice. This was attended by a large number of people.

d. In 2006, The Art of Living singers lead by Bhanu didi performed Satsang for more than 4 hours on the occasion of Janmashtami at Rajadhani Temple in Chantilly, Virginia. The temple was over flowing with people and still the temple authorities remember it as a greatest event.

e. In January 2006 the center organized Bollywood Dhamaka – lead by Kansas Raja. The event was to popularize the Art of Living in Northern Virginia, besides raising funds to Art of Living. More than 600 people attended the program.

In December of 2008, the center organized Bollywood Musical Journey by Shruti. This event was organized to raise funds for Care For Children Program of Art of Living. This was a great success as more than 800 people attended the event, besides the support of a large number or corporate sponsors.

g. Every year, the center participates at Heritage India show to popularize the Art of Living.
h. Constantly the center conducts intro talks at various public places in Northern Virginia.
